Pros

  • easy and convenient connectivity options
  • They are functioning pretty well in my hands
  • an excellent option at an affordable price range
  • improves the durability of the overall setup
  • a sound that is clear and transparent
  • plenty of clarity
  • nice depth of field and a good sense of stereo positioning
  • performs excellently to produce the exceptional sound required for DJing
  • produces sound with great precision and an excellent amount of clarity
  • features combined can make your music production process much easier and faster
  • It balances the frequencies pretty well and the flat response is quite solid

Cons

  • it is not the former Yamaha NS10
  • it gets really tough to leave an option and cling to another one
  • it is not as precise as other higher-priced monitors
  • Yamaha HS8 does not require a subwoofer
  • There is not a single frequency that takes the center stage
  • sound it produces will not bounce off the walls
  • the sound will surely get distorted and echo
  • the HS series monitors as sounding harsh or brittle
  • low-end drops off around 28 to 29Hz
  • It may not display this or other websites correctly
  • retail that around here where I live
