  • The quality is top notch and lives up to Yamaha s reputation
  • small size makes it easy and comfortable for kids to play
  • small size makes it super portable and very light so
  • B+ It feels nice to hold and play
  • Chord and position changes are fairly smooth
  • GL1 is a very capable instrument
  • construction is impressively well made for a relatively lower-priced instrument
  • guitar is better than a broomstick
  • Size is sufficient to work quietly
  • Rendering sound is beautiful
