F310: Yamaha's entry level guitar, has a laminate top and no frills. FG700s: Features a solid top and sounds like a much much more expensive guitar. In fact, once you've played the FG line, you won't be able to go back to laminate tops. I personally own a FG800, this replaced the previous FG700 line.
