Pros

  • features are awesome
  • intuitive
  • and fun to use
  • Flipping through settings is easy
  • watch should work fine
  • the speed (and distance) readings are very accurate
  • it performed fairly well
  • Backcountry & Competitive Cyclist offer free 2-day shipping
  • some thoughts on the recovery features - sleep and quick
  • very good quality GPS and a very good training tool during
  • recovery chart functionality and found that well implemented

Cons

  • Navigation is a little weird at first
  • customise some simple features
  • lack the full Brady Bunch of colors at my disposal
  • POD calibration data is lost
  • It will not work with other 3rd party straps that have memory
  • the step counter was largely useless
  • GPS reception is lost every stroke and has to be regained every stroke
  • The technology is not there yet
  • doesn t mean it s not a valuable resource
  • Peak is only available in black and sapphire
  • innovation doesn t seem to be slowing
