Pros

  • perfectly placed acoustic guitars and the orchestra
  • extended high frequencies
  • fast transient response and deep bass
  • lovely strings and stable soundstage
  • Build quality is excellent
  • portability of the system with the rechargeable Driver Unit
  • It makes for a very comfortable fit
  • provides makes it easy to follow all the melodic and percussion lines
  • The better the program material
  • the more you will enjoy them
  • East Coast Frequency response is pretty decent

Cons

  • the answers are a bit complicated
  • mean the headphones I own are suddenly of no value
  • It might be a bit awkward for travel
  • Random Access Memories - Nothing like a little techno
  • The cord connecting the headphones to the Driver Unit is quite long
  • Headphones aren't meant to measure as a flat line
  • limited choice of headphone amps
  • no dynamic can hold a candle to electrostatics
  • Hive also had less upper-mid coloration
  • flat couplers are a totally different story and not very compatible with mine
  • RP18 s were tuned so horribly
