What is the difference between Sony UBP-X800 and Sony UBP-X700?
    cassey
The Sony UBP-X800 is a little faster with 4K Blu-ray load times than the Sony UBP-X700. The X700 has been flawless so far, but the X800 is far superior in build quality. It looks like something you keep in a motorhome, while the X700 more befits a home AV system.

What is the difference between Sony UBP-X800 and UBP-X800M2?
    francisco.ullrich
The UBP-X800M2 supports Dolby Vision, while the UBP-X800 only supports Dolby Atmos. In addition to these features, the UBP-X800M2 is also the only one of the two to support HEVC, VP9, VP6, MP3, Monkey's Audio and 24p True Cinema. The UBP-X800 has an advantage over the UBP-X800M2 in that it features screen mirroring in addition to 3D and Live streaming.

Sony UBP-X800 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player (2017 Model) Review

Sony is one of the biggest names in home theater. Their product lines range from televisions to audio equipment, and everything in between. But even if you’ve got the best home theater on the market, you’ll still need to use the latest and greatest video format if you want to make the most of it. If you own a 4K TV, you’ve likely been involved in a long patient wait for content. There was even a time where the first 4K Blu-ray movies were available on store shelves, but manufacturers had yet to release a player that could support that
