  • The build of the reader is solid
  • Reliable
  • well made
  • great battery life
  • e-ink is very easy on the eyes

Cons

  • No wireless
  • more expensive than Kindle and Nook
  • glare and contrast was weak
  • Sony Reader lacks wireless
  • not quite as light as the Kindle 3 and Kindle DX Graphite
  • the touch-screen interface is more costly to implement
  • eyesight will probably opt for the large setting
  • had a few design flaws
  • no handy list like the Kindle produces
  • very difficult to photograph electronic devices
  • inability to highlight properly was a real deal breaker
