  • The cable on these is a bit soft
  • charcoal gray is a very stiff glossy plastic
  • The sharp quality gets worse with both higher volume and deeper insertion
  • lag slightly behind a couple of the top-tier armature
  • soundstage is not quite the widest in absolute terms
  • It is not harsh and almost never sibilant
  • The cord itself feels slightly underwhelming for a $500 product
  • No longer do cymbals sound metallic or overly strident
