  • Sonys are very good indeed
  • silky smoothness and sense of refinement
  • solid-sounding pair of headphones
  • and clean
  • well-balanced bass and a rich
  • active noise cancellation is superb
  • great sound and terrific active noise cancellation
  • They sound detailed and very well balanced
  • Ambient Sound Normal Mode is very good
  • ambient noise level was also very consistent with my surroundings
  • Low-treble and treble responses are excellent and within

Cons

  • ambient noise becomes audible
  • the sound can feel top-heavy
  • doesn't sound too sharp nor cut too deep
  • Noise cancellation of this caliber also requires a lot of software running
  • not a wall converter
  • The touch controls only work when the headset is in wireless mode
  • voices sometimes exhibited audible clipping and harshness
  • hiss and digital artifacts made it sound
  • Thick in the mid-range and dull at the top end
  • crumpling paper or plastic became annoyingly intense and amplified
  • These headphones are a bit bulky
