It might be expensive, but the 46-inch KDL-46XBR8 from Sony has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a high-end TV. A local-dimming LED backlight system, 120Hz technology, and that Sony style make for one excellent TV, if you can afford it.
The delivery guy just picked up the XBR8—Sony's tri-color LED Backlit HDTV. I'm a bit sad because I'd never seen an LCD shine like that before.
