Pros

  • Very easy to use and portable
  • ideal
  • s great for conducting interviews in a very quiet location
  • Setting your input volume levels is made pretty simple on the PX470
  • The audio quality is in my opinion superb
  • The menus are simple and easy to navigate
  • Battery life is awesome and very easy to use
  • best range of recording options and the cleanest interface of the free Android apps
  • UX560 is more intuitive than with the other recorders we tested
  • Simple Record and Stop buttons at the top of the home screen are intuitive to use
  • the easiest recorder to navigate and use among those tested

Cons

  • only USB-C ports
  • background noise coming through
  • Can t recharge batteries
  • Olympus WS-853 performed poor as compared to Sony s offerings
  • It makes them useless in low light locations
  • Olympus no longer make them
  • comparatively poor sound quality
  • survivors: stooped
  • slow
  • pained
  • There is a very soft whine in the background
