it s substantially sharper and also a good bit cheaper

this lens is nearly perfect
compact build and image stabilization
easy and comfortable one-handed shooting
quite comfortable on a day out shooting

the sharpness is a bit lacking
crop sensor eliminates the most troublesome areas of the image
E-mount lenses are not compatible on other Sony cameras
The lens hood is really large
49mm filters will not rotate during focus operations
