  • Very good low-light focusing as well
  • Good color
  • accurate hue
  • appropriate saturation
  • quiet and moves smoothly through the focal range

Cons

  • lost photos due to a corrupted memory card
  • High barrel distortion at wide angle
  • loss of subtle detail due to anti-noise processing
  • Memory card corruption can happen with any card type and any camera manufacturer
  • noise-suppression processing were a little less aggressive
  • Aperture selection is paltry
  • the Cyber Shot also has a tendency to blow out whites and highlights
  • sometimes created halos around the edges of objects
  • flash won't light up a room
  • the histogram is small
