  • showed good color in most of my testing
  • color balance was pretty accurate

Cons

  • Maximum MPEG file length is limited only by available flash memory
  • lost photos due to a corrupted memory card
  • Controls the date and time display
  • Memory card corruption can happen with any card type and any camera manufacturer
  • Records silent
  • moving images
  • flash mode is limited in some cases
  • the histogram is small
  • the Cyber Shot also has a tendency to blow out whites and highlights
  • sometimes created halos around the edges of objects
  • Aperture selection is paltry
