  • Intelligent Auto modes
  • 50x and 100x clear zoom is amazing
  • impressive blues and greens
  • Portraits have excellent skin tones and are free of red-eye
  • Quality is good and the Optical SteadyShot does a great
  • electronic viewfinder which is bright and clear
  • optical stabilisation performed superbly
  • Battery life is good for around 310 photos or 155 minutes of moving footage
  • it looks and feels accessible and unintimidating
  • quite comfortable
  • Comfortable and ergonomic design

Cons

  • image quality quite poor
  • little purple fringing and chromatic aberration in contrasting areas
  • enough noise to cause a little softening at ISO 800
  • image quality is terrible and these two settings are best avoided
  • it was a little erratic
  • PERFORMANCE - SHOT SPEEDPerformance is a mixed bag
  • these are only available in Auto shooting modes
  • Neither mode can update autofocus or exposure between shots
