We take a look at the Sony W805C with a 55-inch HD screen, Android TV and X-Reality Pro. But at £999 for a 1920x1080p TV it seems expensive given the current 4K budget TVs.
Is a premium HD TV still worth buying?
While it's largely a sideways move from 2014's W829, the Sony KDL-55W805C is tremendous value for money in terms of picture quality.
This Sony set is an elegant, vibrant, Full HD TV with plenty of tricks up its sleeve...
The 43-inch version of Sony's W80C range offers a superb viewing experience, and an attractive, slimline design. Benefits include low lag times, making it ideal for PS4 gaming, plus Android TV with a wide choice of apps and content available. Having said that, Sony's slow roll-out of Android is giving us cause for concern.
