  • more consistently effective and natural-looking
  • A1 does a very good job at upscaling HD content
  • The platform itself is fairly robust and all streaming services are well represented
  • consistent and refined picture
  • picture quality with games is absolutely stunning

Cons

  • s hardly any of the fizzing in background walls or areas of dark colour
  • Sony no longer supports MHL on their televisions
  • invisible Sony logo sits towards the bottom left corner
  • image was a bit too dull
  • Bass while present is certainly no match for a dedicated subwoofer
  • a slight lean-back angle on a pull-out prop leg
  • There s no way this sort of science-fiction madness could possibly work
  • Ultra HD Blu-ray picture quality
  • Super Bit mapping colour management
  • Built-in Wi-Fi
  • the cobbles are more clearly defined and more obviously slick from recent rain
