  • Focus was also very reliable with a high success rate
  • good sized grip for your hand the camera is comfortable to hold
  • A68 is a great SLT camera at a very competitive price
  • 2 APS-C sensor is also very good
  • The night photograph was excellent
  • Sony offers a good deal for your cash
  • The Fn button is very useful
  • colours are pleasingly vibrant with lots of punch and depth
  • Processing times are generally pretty good
  • easy

Cons

  • dot resolution does not match other cameras with electronic viewfinders
  • will never return to a camera using a mirror
  • there is no match of mirror camera
  • screen doesn't look great and is not a gapless design
  • no built-in Wi-Fi
  • auto slow shutter and HDMI info display
  • lacks the weather-sealing of the more expensive A77 II
  • too stiff and rigid
  • unwanted noise or other artifacts
  • Red-eye reduction mode caused any amount of red-eye
  • the resulting image is of fairly low resolution

Although the firm’s mirrorless models are popular, Sony hasn’t given up on its SLT - translucent mirror cameras.
