  • make it easy to shoot compelling lifestyle images
  • solid and well-built
  • Sharp with good colour rendition
  • Sharpness towards the edges is very good at this focal length
  • The build quality of the Sigma is surprisingly good
  • works quite fast and reasonably accurate
  • the ring will turn quickly and easily

Cons

  • slightly pared down from its original design following an
  • does cheaper also mean inferior
  • Nikon D3300 is without motor in the body
  • not as fast as some equivalent lenses
  • Sony lens lacking a silent focusing motor
  • cost Nikon bodies no longer have an AF motor in the body
