Sigma 1.4x EX DG Tele Converter

Pros

  • contrast and colors looked superb
  • Build quality appears very good
  • Quicker AF speed
  • Build quality and optical quality
  • telelconverter produces decently sharp results
  • The colors are still vibrant and the contrast is still good
  • very fast and accurate to autofocus

Cons

  • f stop and hunts a bit for focus
  • the performance at the maximum aperture is rather weak
  • Autofocus Speed will decrease a little
  • 4x loses about the same amount of sharpness
  • lost the ability to autofocus
  • autofocus speed or accuracy seem any slower
  • does not autofocus on my lens
  • Movement between camera and teleconverter is terrible
  • chromatic aberration at /4 is pretty minor
  • the CA increases as you stop down
  • diffraction softness becomes an issue
