  • The pads are also very much improved
  • two are very different
  • both very good

Pros

  • The pads are also very much improved
  • two are very different
  • both very good
  • It is technically better and sounds more fun to me
  • closed designs are best for isolation of course
  • a great sound and is very portable
  • Very clean sound and great for isolating outside noises
  • The new single headband makes them very comfortable
  • new single headband design is outstanding
  • and designed for comfort
  • Lightweight and minimalistic design is a huge positive

Cons

  • The L2 may be a little too warm or bassy
  • rather bulky and the bass is loose or boomy
  • VK-1 is not a soundstage headphone
  • the treble could be a bit aggressive and the sound a bit congested and narrow
