Pros

  • chromatic aberrations are very well controlled
  • It produces sharp images and has excellent build quality
  • This lens is a fabulous piece of engineering and equally superb optically
  • The exposure is generally good in low contrast situations
  • good and reasonably priced lens
  • optical properties are certainly very good
  • Lumix lens generally gives better colours
  • lens and the video quality is really quite good
  • is smooth and feels great to turn
  • it feels very balanced
  • Color capturing for this lens is also very accurate

Cons

  • lens has no electronic interface with the camera
  • the Koreans have invented a lens with infinite aperture
  • The aperture ring is divided into half stop intervals
  • inability to focus on the sensor or film all colours of visible light at the same
  • Manual focusing ring is a little stiff
  • Lumix has a significantly larger front lens element
  • lack of autofocus or aperture
  • it does not have any aperture mechanism
  • the camera cannot control the aperture at all
  • sadly no depth of field (DoF) scale
  • terribly out of focus either
