What causes a Samsung TV to not turn on?
    damien.barrows
If you are having trouble turning your Samsung Smart TV on, it could be an issue with the outlet, cable, remote, or tv itself. The display of the red standby light is important. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off, and the light is off when the TV is in use.

    quentin
If your Samsung remote is not working, remove your remote's batteries, unplug your TV and wait 60 full seconds. While you wait, press and hold the power button down on your remote. Finally, plug your TV back in and replace your remote batteries. Your remote should work now!
