    Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete.

    Samsung has integrated TV Plus into the Samsung Free menu on Galaxy smartphones. Samsung Free is Samsung's replacement for Google Discover on Android. You can read news articles, play games, and go to the Watch tab and check live TV channels from the Samsung TV Plus service.

    Connect an HDMI cable to your cable or satellite box's HDMI out port, which should be located on the back. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to any of the empty HDMI ports on your Samsung TV. Note: Make sure to remember what number the port is so you can change your TV's source to it in a moment.

    You can restore all TV settings (excluding the network settings) to their factory defaults. Open Settings, and then select General. Select Reset, enter your PIN (0000 is the default), and then select Reset. To complete the reset, select OK.
