  • consistently extreme levels of brightness and convincing black levels across the range

Cons

  • The cable connecting the two is thicker than last year's
  • thinner and less cluttered
  • The Auto mode is still too aggressive and unnatural
  • darkens the image and introduces unwatchable levels of flicker
  • as super thin as an OLED set
  • Movie mode dials down the brightness a bit
  • a direct LED backlight and that has to go somewhere
  • Previously only available on dedicated gaming monitors
