Which sound mode is best for Samsung soundbar?

Sound modes on HW-Q90R. Adaptive: Best for TV because voices get a 'boost'Standard: Best for music because is simulates stereo sound.Surround: Best for watching movies because it uses all the speakers to create a (virtual) 5.1 setting.Game-pro: Best for gaming.

Why does my Samsung Soundbar keep cutting out?

You may notice that the sound drops intermittently or stops working when your soundbar is connected to your TV via HDMI-ARC. If this is happening, you can fix the issue with a firmware update.

What does shop 1 mean on a Samsung soundbar?

If you are getting "shop 1" you are pushing volume down. To press mute you have to press straight down on the volume toggle. Then once you see ID SET flash on the sound bar , go to the surround module and hold the ID SET button in back for 10 seconds.

The Samsung HW-A650 has a fair selection of sound enhancement features. There's a graphic EQ to help you customize its sound, as well as some EQ presets: 'Standard', 'Surround Sound', 'Bass Boost', 'Game', 'Adaptive Sound Lite', and 'DTS Virtual X'.
