  • also nails dialogue
  • making voices sound rich and life-like
  • very enjoyable

Cons

  • player lacks an optical output
  • ineptitude of the virtual surround in the 'Cinema' setting
  • ugly wires trailing up the wall
  • Sudden transients like gunfire or smashing glass
  • no substitute for experience
  • The fan in subwoofer also shut itself down after a short while

    How do I sync my Samsung soundbar with the subwoofer without the remote?

    Manual connection Connect the power cords for the soundbar and the subwoofer to the back of each, and then plug both into a wall outlet. Use a small pointed object to press the ID SET button on the back of the subwoofer. Continue holding until STANDBY turns off and LINK (Blue LED) blinks quickly.
