It does come a bit cluttered with some apps

Resistant to water and dust Wear the Gear S3 out in all kinds of weather, to all kinds of places. It's rated IP68 so it's able to withstand dust and dirt and being up to 1.5 meters or for up to 30 minutes underwater.

Keep in mind you cannot make or answer calls directly on your watch unless it has a built-in mic and speaker like the Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Watch4 series, Galaxy Watch5 series, and Gear S3.

The Gear S3 Classic is only available with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Adding LTE connectivity to the S3 Frontier will allow you to do things like make phone calls, download apps, receive notifications from third-party apps, stream music and send text messages without needing to have your phone with you at all times.

Users don't have to take their Android smartphone out of their pocket. They can simply wave the Gear S3 watch at the payment terminal, enter the payment amount on the terminal and punch the credit/debit card verification PIN to make a payment.

The real difference is who these watches are pitched at: the Frontier is the more rugged looking and comes with a rubberised strap as standard, while the more classic looking Classic (clue's in the name, eh?) comes with a black leather strap as standard.
