great example of something simple done right
Excellent with both movies and music Extremely simple setup Unobtrusive design
robust and reliable
Dialogue was generally very clear and easy to hear
so sleek and slimline was capable of producing such satisfying bass
Always Enabled Necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the website to function properly
sound output is excellent
The military drum beat is clear and detailed and noteworthy
remote control is basic
is totally intuitive and it works fine
The price point is pretty good too

It may not display this or other websites correctly
somewhat skittish performance of the remote
You are using an outdated browser

The small screen at the front is pretty useless
slightly lower powered Sub Zero
Movie produces very muddy audio
They are nowhere near as refined or detailed as the Music profile
Sound can be a little tinny around the edges
all six of the ports are downward facing
the bass was not as precise as more expensive models
bass levels can sometimes overwhelm
reduces the bass levels by a touch too much

The Roth BAR 3 is a great example of something simple done right, and is comfortably the best soundbar we've heard under the £250 price barrier. Excellent value and therefore a Best Buy.
