  • The build quality is also fairly decent
  • Distortion control is also very good
  • image quality of the lens is fantastic

Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 Aspherical

Pros

  • The build quality is also fairly decent
  • Distortion control is also very good
  • image quality of the lens is fantastic
  • the bokeh looks absolutely wonderful and incredibly film-like
  • The lens feels very balanced on the 5D Mk II as well
  • it cleans up nicely
  • the lens feels good
  • The focus ring is buttery smooth and the aperture ring feels good

Cons

  • The lens is not chipped to work with Canon DSLRs
  • lack of AF chipping
  • focusing screen in the 5D Mk III
  • screen was very often not what I got in the photo
  • images weren't always totally in focus but
  • copy of something as expensive as a camera lens
  • defective lenses in the past
  • This site uses Akismet to reduce spam
  • significant coma in the corners (
  • optical performance or build quality control issues
  • lack of AF and mechanically controlled aperture
