Pros

  • moves smoothly and is nicely damped
  • bokeh is smoother
  • The bokeh is very creamy and positively beautiful
  • pretty fun
  • It is easy to use
  • It is easy to use and the images you get are fantastic

Cons

  • Manual focus design is not for everyone
  • maximum magnification is limited to half life-size
  • depth of field is incredibly small at a 2:1 ratio
  • a small focus throw makes doing so a little difficult
  • This site uses Akismet to reduce spam
  • they are often too expensive
  • nailing focus is slightly more difficult due to the short focus throw
  • the image will get darker when you focus closer
  • very tough to do even at the macro ranges
  • focusing on a telephoto lens is very difficult
  • a tad soft in the middle
