Pros

  • it is a seamless product
  • the best value for money options and will provide good quality sound
  • kit is made up by a good number of their products
  • great quality mic at a reasonable price
  • quality of the sound is excellent and the microphone does a great job of excluding background noise
  • amazing sound and ability to reject background noise
  • Voice quality is very comparable to my RE20
  • The mic sounds great and the boom and shockmount are solid
  • The character feels smooth with a solid low end
  • The Rode cable is very nice and robust
  • sound quality was great with no upfront processing

Cons

  • EQ usually solves most of my muddy problems
  • the pre-amp noise and it was unusable
  • Amazons are generally more expensive than in USA version
  • the mic is pretty gain hungry
  • noisy bumps
  • thick cable that does not fit well in the cable track of the boom arm
  • The microphone is rather sensitive to power line magnetic fields
  • The arm will start to fall down and will not stay in the desired spot
  • No equalization or dynamic processing
  • 2 Pro only had a gain range of 54 dB on the preamps
  • microphone also does require a bit of juice
