  • The preamps are also excellent
  • craftsmanship of the unit is exemplary and all the buttons have a satisfying feel to them
  • great for clock output and helps with jitter

Cons

  • there is no separate control for the two phones
  • it adds a lot of unnecessary bulk
  • the gap is pretty huge

Pros

  • The preamps are also excellent
  • craftsmanship of the unit is exemplary and all the buttons have a satisfying feel to them
  • great for clock output and helps with jitter
  • sound quality is also impressive with the headphone and line outputs sounding
  • The manual is also excellent
  • very thorough and understandable
  • it perfectly meets my expectations
  • ergonomics of the Babyface is very well thought out
  • The manual is very neat and a nice touch of humor
  • sound quality is top and the card is extremely stable and comfortable
  • a great audio interface and very stable

Cons

  • there is no separate control for the two phones
  • it adds a lot of unnecessary bulk
  • the gap is pretty huge
  • the sound too digital
  • Dreadful Noise
  • the Babyface does not power the iOS device through its USB connection
  • lack of breakout cables for the XLR and jack inputs and outputs
  • low latency AD/DA converters
  • hard wired to the headphone output
  • drive to make everything smaller has had unwelcome trade offs
