Pros

  • meter is much better and much more like Sony's
  • Detail is good even in the shadow areas
  • good manual focusing display and a solid well designed body
  • build
  • RF experience
  • and excellent output at ISO
  • looks good and at a reasonable price
  • EVF with manual glass is actually pretty nice
  • EVF and peaking system are quite good
  • relatively compact and feature AF
  • GXR performs admirably

Cons

  • lack of an AA filter allow the magic of M mount lenses to shine throw
  • Noise seems less evident in highlighted/bright areas
  • lack of AA filter
  • background blurring tricks up its sleeve
  • lag is quite annoying in one-shot mode
  • neither M mount lenses nor adapters to M mount are cheap
  • lack of fast wides
  • really no IR filter and no anti-alias filter
  • Fujifilm decided not to release their own M adapter at the product launch
  • offers does not have electrical contacts and does not communicate with the camera
  • 28mm focal length feels a little loose to me
