  • It performs really well
  • and it seems to be built nicely
  • durable and reliable
  • it will hopefully have a nice long life
  • provides surprisingly good performance for the price
  • the build quality is very good and after a few small upgrades
  • this microphone is almost as versatile as the original

Cons

  • pick up all the instruments that are playing around it
  • seems a bit too narrow
  • the volume dropped dramatically
  • the midrange is a bit lacking
  • No stand clip or carry bag is included
  • there is no transformer in this microphone
  • it wouldn t be an expensive replacement
  • venerable SM57 can get quite expensive
