Pros

  • delivers a pleasing feeling of permanence and heft
  • comfortable and solid
  • both methods for syncing data worked well
  • display is bright and easy to read both indoors and outside
  • incredibly user-friendly
  • The display is clear and full of essential training data for each discipline
  • V800 has great support for the Stryd footpod
  • elegant and has outstanding GPS Accuracy
  • easy to follow and easily accessible directly from the watch
  • makes it easier to set up while adding the workouts to favorites enables easier access
  • V800 is really at its best while running

Cons

  • devil have horns and hooves
  • Not much use as a sleep tracker
  • Highly annoying charging/syncing connector
  • no turn-by-turn navigation facility
  • Slightly tricky to scroll through options on the watch itself
  • The watch was not always accurate at counting my laps
  • second-hand and uncertified lithium-ion batteries
  • There is no MAPPING data like street names etc
  • lack of MULTISPORT support
  • Polar connects with external devices using Bluetooth rather
  • option to lower the power of the GPS signal in order to save battery
