Pros

  • makes quality products that are reliable and come at a reasonable price point
  • monitor is pretty good by itself and obviously cheaper too
  • enormous tracking features and handy alarm bells
  • RS300X is the more affordable
  • very much user-friendly
  • correct and smart looking watch
  • Attractive black design looks great with any type of workout or running clothes
  • very high quality training devices at reasonable prices
  • solid
  • dependable heart rate monitor
  • Compatible with other Polar exercise metrics devices

Cons

  • unreliable HR detection
  • default display
  • the stop watch only shows HR
  • It got momentarily wet in shower yesterday and has failed
  • one can get confused as to get the light activated
  • you MUST train for your race
  • but pretty useless most of the time
  • it is way more expensive for a basic unit
  • To start the watch operation
  • Image size should not be more than 5 MB
  • the moisture that could lead to inaccurate heart rate readings
