Quite possibly the finest hi-def disc player in the world right now... Much like Thor's Uru hammer, only the home cinema worthy will be able to lift Pioneer's mighty BDP-LX88 Blu-ray player. Tipping the scales at an enormous 13.4kg, it boasts more armour than Brad Pitt’s tank, and is heavier than many AV receivers.
A stellar movie performance, but its stereo performance and lack of streaming apps let it down
In the Player Pioneer BDP-LX88 is very accurate and detailed sound. And the scene - a little more modest in size than the Oppo BDP-105D, but more focused.
