The manual focus over ride is much appreciated
sharpness is good
beautiful craftsmanship and extremely solid construction
Sharpness is there and focusing seems pretty decent
Contrast and color are also superb
Flare and backlighting were handled extremely well
generally smooth and attractive
build quality of this lens is superb

and exceptional optical performance

It just a very consistent and solid performer
clean and more resistant against water and fingerprints
focus ring operates very smooth and slightly damped

DA 35 Limited is not a low light/narrow DOF lens
Zeiss is bad for landscapes
hard to use indoors on people without an external flash
Auto-focus is not blazing fast
the Pentax was lacking in sharpness
slightly recessed into the lens barrel
The front element does not rotate
the AF system will hunt wildly and may fail to find focus
