Pentax 645D

Pros

  • Focusing speed
  • accuracy and responsiveness seemed excellent and on
  • Design is very clear and the monitor is good
  • layout and navigation are basically identical
  • and the buttons are generously sized and feel positive in use
  • Focusing is also achieved with little noise
  • 645D is compatible with their lenses
  • Buttons are well spaced for easy handling
  • External controls are bountiful
  • making quick adjustments easy
  • camera's high ISO performance was quite impressive

Cons

  • missing out
  • cumbersome size
  • Medium Format cameras are also unwieldy in size
  • It was too big to fit in any of my camera bags
  • dynamic lighting will usually end up darker than expected
  • purple fringing along highlighted edges in some environments
  • slow mirror and shutter mechanisms
  • cameras they are not tied to an exact sensor size
  • Pentax 645 system will feel just as at home
  • No access to a Coastal 60 sadly
  • Photoshop does not recognize the lens profile automatically
