  • the highest quality and produced some outstanding point-and-shoot shots
  • Panasonic ZR1 is a remarkably light camera for its class
  • polished and easy to use
  • Intelligent Auto Mode system works very well
  • Macro performance is good
  • Super-quick auto-focusing and improved image
  • The night photograph was excellent

  • but overpriced in terms of zoom
  • The camera takes the same amount of time again to apply noise reduction

The essence is an attractive, slim camera with touches of steel, easy to find external buttons and a delightfully simple viewfinder menu to adjust the taps and tools in your picture
