  • 1080i AVCHD clips are sharp with good exposure and color
  • Intelligent Auto
  • Intelligent Exposure and Intelligent ISO functions
  • Battery life is rated as good for 300 shots on a charge to CIPA testing standards
  • shooting performance are excellent as well
  • the screen is responsive and there are Touch Shutter
  • shooting performance is excellent for its size
  • it works very well
  • colors are fairly accurate and overall rich and pleasing
  • sensor and new image-processing engine

Cons

  • Shutter speeds go from 8 seconds to 1/2
  • default color reproduction a little flat
  • the only option is AVCHD compression
  • no optical viewfinder
  • Hue is also a little off for colors like yellow
  • Noise pixels are quite visible at this lowest setting
  • a lot of fringing around high-contrast subjects
  • Panasonic FX700 have Image Stabilization
  • Lack of a viewfinder can be problematic
