  • sleek and stylish exterior
  • The night photograph was excellent
  • Macro performance is very good
  • very solid and well-constructed in the hand
  • The transportation is relatively easy
  • it all works fine
  • silky effect on the sea
  • The menu is very simple and user friendly
  • The video is sharp and full of detail
  • the touch-screen controls are mostly quick to access and responsive
  • CM1 is quite well specified for a smartphone

Cons

  • Panasonic have already missed the proverbial boat
  • only taking around 1 second to turn on and display the Lock screen
  • no screw thread for a tripod
  • this 25 second movie is 145Mb in size
  • The camera takes the same amount of time again to apply noise reduction
  • no digital sharpening is applied to the raw image
  • slightly thicker body design and a slightly heavier one
  • the lens can only be so small
  • scarce and no dock accessories have been announced
  • the lens itself is quite noisy as it shifts around while focusing
  • quality The front lenses is not protected when not is shooting mode
