while the navigation and playback are quick and responsive

distinct lack of control with only a tray open/close button and
no coaxial digital output
suffer from a poor internet browser and apps can feel sluggish
interface is slightly difficult to navigate leading to a poor user experience

lack the balanced XLR analogue outputs
built-in Wi-Fi
the remote control should be backlit
lost the coaxial digital audio output
No sound processing should be happening on the player side
the orchestral score kicks off with a weighty and deliberate swell of sound
there is no standard of any kind for tone mapping
lacks touch- sensitive controls
lack of an HDMI input
adds useless features so the manufacturer can try to charge more
model is missing compared to the flagship UB9000
I was only able to reach it via HTTPS
there is no support for the now dead SACD or DVD-Audio
blu ray player only outputs regular hdr and not DOLBY VISION
the quality of many A/V products has diminished
