Eager to please and equally pleasing to watch, the HD25 is a great budget option
Review: The Optoma HD25-LV is a 1080p DLP home video projector with full 3D capabilities that is great for living room, home entertainment, gaming, or portable use
At first glance, it's hard to believe a sub-$1,000 projector like the Optoma HD25-LV could offer the same level of performance as others twice the cost, but all that doubt will fade away as soon as you turn it on for the first time.
The HD25-LV projector is a single chip DLP projector that’s a very nicely bright home entertainment projector. Learn more here!
Review: The Optoma HD25 is a 1080p DLP home theater projector with full 3D capabilities that is great for entry-level home theater, gaming, or portable use
The HD25 and the HD25LV are two 3D 1080p projectors that just came to market. We've reviewed the HD65, the HD20, the HD72...and the HD33 before, but these new units break 3D into a new price point.
Optoma shake up the lower end of the projector market with their new HD25
Superb image quality and 3D support, and 3D glasses are included in the box
Ultra bright Full HD projector with superb image quality that you can use in daylight as well as darkness
Excellent image accuracy and contrast prove that Optoma is up for the budget projector brawl Design-wise, the HD25 is passably attractive by budget projection standards, thanks to its gloss white finish and curved forward edge. Casual users will appreciate its small, cupboard-friendly footprint – though this does raise concerns about running noise issues. It’s good to see the £800 HD25 taking 3D seriously too, by including a free pair of Active 3D glasses and RF 3D transmitter.
For around £800 the Optoma HD25 2D/3D is a talented 2D/3D projector that represents good value for money.
