Both lights are a pleasure to use
a really nice light
almost perfect in many ways
S2R is comfortable to use
It is so well build
great light for up close and medium-range illumination
rugged
compact and bright
tough
simple and practical design
The overall construction of the light is mostly solid
quite smooth and still allows you to grip the light well

It is not a thrower
There are not much bundled accessories
the flashlight was on while clipped inside my jeans pocket
The fixed beam is predominantly a large spot plus a little flood going quite wide
do not encourage you to lick 9-Volt or any other batteries
they don't have a separate charger
charger that requires you to remove the battery from the flashlight
that button presses do not change the light mode
There is no dark spot in the middle of the beam like on Maglite
Dolphin torches were in houses all over the country
just slightly longer and fatter than a standard swiss army knife
Turbo mode heats the small frame up considerably in a short amount of time
1150 lumens is quite ludicrous for such a small light
