  • look and sound great
  • bass is well controlled and offers good impact
  • good sound and 16-hour combined listening time
  • the earpieces are shaped well to stay in place
  • Pretty darn good for the most part
  • clean and has a nice presence
  • The buttons are definitely easier and more natural to press
  • It s perfectly fine and clear for conversational purposes
  • It looks awesome with lots of features including simple music playback of music stored onboard
  • good and reliable experience overall
  • nice and pleasant output overall

Cons

  • of these things are complicated
  • cheap-feeling and smudgy glossy plastic
  • aptX was forgone in the Free5
  • finicky Bluetooth signal
  • lack of aptX support for higher fidelity streaming
  • the midrange became a little overpowering in the mix
  • battery life will go down if the volume is cranked up
  • case slippery compared to the BE Free 5s
  • They can be difficult to open and they are fingerprint magnets
  • buttons have a real mechanical click
  • slightly rolled off
