Pros

  • Quality is good and the focus adjusts quickly when zooming in and out
  • Image quality is good and performance at higher ISO's is also
  • EVF is bright and comfortable to use
  • great going from wide angle to zooming into the base of the fountain
  • Video performance is about as good as you can expect from the hardware
  • the zoom ratio race is alive and well
  • Macro performance is excellent
  • P600's lens is also respectably fast
  • the camera is remarkably compact and light
  • The controls are comfortably placed and responsive
  • wasn t as smooth as the Canon but it was helpful

Cons

  • your images will suffer when taken in daylight or under fluorescent light
  • image quality suffers immensely at full telephoto
  • there's not much lever force at the end of the lens
  • too slow to be used to track a moving subject
  • image quality suffers in low light
  • poor quality of the EVF
