Pros

  • build quality is very good
  • the AF is certainly fast enough in the field
  • rubberized focus ring is nicely damped and operates smoothly
  • optimally for you and to be able to continuously improve it
  • sharpness and the colors of this glass are just wonderful and
  • is designed to withstand tough weather and is well-protected on the outside against dust and moisture
  • excellent
  • Focus tracking works very well
  • the optical path is fairly simple and straightforward
  • The center sharpness in that range is good throughout

Cons

  • back-focusing issues are not solely lens-dependent
  • the lens doesn't look disproportionately huge
  • Longitudinal chromatic aberrations are more pronounced
