  • It works good as new with my quick repair
  • Optically the lens is very good
  • Build quality and handling are excellent
  • image quality is superb
  • Image quality is very good to excellent
  • bokeh is nice and smooth
  • solid and very well built lens
  • The design is so simple and very comfortable to use
  • Bokeh produced are nice & smooth

  • It balances good in the hands with the F5 attached

Cons

  • wont last as long as the lens itself
  • blur profile at 200mm was still somewhat lopsided
  • Lacks AF-S and VR
  • the AF/MF switch ring is prone to crack
  • its AF is not silent and a step slow from AFS
  • we are NOT affiliated with Nikon Corp
  • is not a good walk around lens
  • it could still make your setup front-heavy
